STORM KING ART CENTER
The Storm King Art Center is a sculptural park located in Mountainville NY.
The center lays itself of 500 acres of open fields and woodlands and showcases a permanent collection of over 100 pieces.
It was founded in 1960 by Ralph Odgen and was originally meant to be a museum for the Hudson River School of painters.
The center is located an hour from the George Washington bridge and it’s a perfect day trip from New York.
Fall is probably one of the best times to visit, because of the foliage colors providing a perfect backdrop for the art.
